LCA: The ecological Life Cycle Analysis

When considering sustainability, an important component is ecological projection. Life Cycle Analysis, LCA for short, is a scientifically recognized and standardized method that allows for the surveying and evaluation of all potential environmental effects of a product or process over the course of the entire life cycle.

For this purpose, building components and their application in the construction of the buildings are forecast and surveyed depending on the respective construction phase. This method subsequently allows for the optimization of materials selection as well as the construction and its evaluation. If the buildings become certified, the evaluation of the life cycle analysis is reflected by the grade issued in the certification process and therefore determines the overall result.
